Our Community Partners

Our Neighborhood Partners

We believe that in order for the church to thrive in its mission, we need to be a partner to those in our community. Partnerships get at the heartbeat of who we are at Franklin and we believe we are stronger together.

Community Partners Quarterly Gatherings

Madison hosts a quarterly community partners meeting where leaders from local non-profit organizations working in the heart of the city gather to share updates, network, and support one another.

We serve together with our partners on the corner of Madison and Franklin:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids

Every kid has oodles of potential. Sometimes, all they need is a little direction, love, and leadership. At four locations, across the community, that’s what we provide.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth, we see a brighter future. One where today’s vulnerable youth become tomorrow’s leaders. At our Clubs and Camp, could becomes will, maybe becomes definitely, and Grand Rapids becomes a better place.

Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF)

ICCF is a nonprofit housing corporation whose leadership is motivated by, and programs shaped by, its belief that all people deserve safe, clean, affordable housing. God has called us to seek justice in our community in response to the saving love of Jesus Christ, that others may see His love in action.

GERALD R. FORD ACADEMIC CENTER (PK-8 Grade)

Gerald R. Ford Academic Center offers a college-focused culture where students embrace the idea that college is important and prepare for this goal by building habits of excellent scholarship and leadership. Gerald R. Ford Academic Center, built-in 2007 as a state-of-the-art 21st Century learning school, is located between the Madison Area and Southeast Community Association neighborhoods on Grand Rapids southeast side.

Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative (ELNC)

Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative (ELNC) is an initiative that is vested in changing the current reality of vulnerable children. In order to create this change, ELNC has designed and is currently implementing an intentional Early Childhood Education service system aimed at providing, expanding, and sustaining the capacity of high-quality early care and education programs in the vulnerable neighborhoods of Grand Rapids.
